Briar Cliff University is a private, Catholic, liberal arts university located in Sioux City, Iowa, United States. The university was founded in 1930 by the Sisters of Saint Francis of Dubuque, Iowa, and has since grown into a comprehensive university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields.

Briar Cliff University offers over 40 majors and minors in fields such as business, education, nursing, social work, biology, psychology, and more.
