Prerequisite: CP 100. Students needing this course should register for it during their first semester of study. All course work is completed online. There is no charge for this course.

Admissions Requirements

  1. Pastor/Church Recommendation Form
When filling out our online application, recommendation forms are emailed to those whom you’ve indicated should receive them.
Family members may not complete a recommendation form. Recommenders must have known the applicant for a minimum of one year. If for some reason, recommendations do not reflect the proper amount of diversity, the Admissions Office may request additional recommendations.
  2. Spiritual Autobiography
When filling out the online application you’ll find a space to type your Spiritual Autobiography. The Spiritual Autobiography is a typed essay — no longer than 500 words — documenting your conversion, concisely articulating the gospel and telling your reasons for choosing Boyce College.
  3. Official Transcripts
Transcription from all educational institutions is required. Official High School transcripts or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) test scores are necessary unless the applicant has more than 24 college hours of post-high school college credit (dual enrollment courses do not count towards these 24 hours). It is best for applicants to request that transcripts be sent directly from their school to the Southern Seminary Admissions Office. In no case will the seminary consider as official a transcript marked “Issued to Student.” For transfer students, we also require other college and/or university transcripts
  4. Application Fee
A $40 non-refundable application fee is due to the admissions office before the student’s application packet can be processed.
  5. ACT/SAT/CLT Scores
All applicants (including home-schooled students) are required to submit scores from either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), American College Test (ACT), or the Classic Learning Test (CLT). The SAT code for Boyce College is 3858 and the ACT code is 5522. Applicants who are 24 or older or have passed 15 hours (post-high-school) from (a) a regionally accredited college or (b) a college with AABC accreditation, and have maintained at least a C average, are not required to submit these standardized test scores. (SAT, ACT, and CLT scores are not used as a basis of admission to Boyce College but are used to help evaluate a student’s ability to do college-level work.) Test scores can be waived for applicants 24 years or older.
  6. Housing Application
All applicants (including internet and extension center applicants) are required to affirm or deny their need for campus housing. Campus housing constraints require us to know of housing needs at the earliest possible date. The following link will take you to our housing application.
  7. Documents of Citizenship
Documentation of immigration classification for students who are not citizens of the United States.

Tuition and Fees

*Thanks to the generosity of the Southern Baptist Convention, students that are members of Southern Baptist Churches receive a steep discount on tuition. Tuition at Boyce is more than $20,000 less per year than the average Christian college. For students affiliated with SBC Churches, each class costs $1,257.

  • $419.00 per credit hour for Southern Baptist students
  • $838.00 per credit hour for non-Southern Baptist students
  • $447.00 student enrollment and student life fees

Average cost per semester: $10,357
