Bloomsburg University's SCM program, within the Department of Innovation, Technology, and Supply Chain Management, is designed using competency models from leading professional organizations. Recognizing the interdisciplinary nature of SCM, the program draws expertise from all business disciplines — accounting, finance, information technology management, management, and marketing — and integrates content through collaborative course design and delivery.

Supply Chain Management Major

As an SCM major, you will join a cohort of students as you move through the program to help you develop collaborative networks and strong group cohesion. The cohort (30 students) takes effect in the first semester of junior year with the first required SCM courses.

• Every course is enriched with integrated technology, enabling students and faculty to participate in virtual business environments. Technology includes enterprise software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX), Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, PQ Systems CHARTrunner, and Palisades DecisionTools.
• Given the interdisciplinary nature of our courses, students are able to “trace” decisions, transitions, and transactions through the organization leading to the fuller comprehension of key business processes.

A plethora of rich opportunities is built into the program for students to:
