Scholarships for academic excellence
Scholarships for academic excellence mean that 50% of the amount of registration and teaching fees is free during a course for official degrees and, in case of maintaining academic excellence, they extend to successive courses until the completion of the degree that the student is studying. The application must be made through Banco Santander's Scholarship Portal, which will cover the cost of the first year of the scholarship through a financial contribution to the Blanquerna Foundation. From the second and consecutive years onwards, it has been in charge of the Blanquerna Foundation.
Honors matriculation scholarships
Promotion of academic excellence
The academic regulations of each faculty of Blanquerna-URL provide for the free registration of a certain number of credits in the following enrollment for those students who have obtained an honors enrollment in any subject or subject, except for the Degree in Pharmacy, which is governed by different regulations.
Blanquerna grants for 1st year students
Blanquerna-URL, a non-profit institution
Blanquerna-URL allocates, for students who enroll in a degree in one of its faculties, a limited fund to grant financial aid and deal with the financing of part of the cost of the studies. The student who receives the aid can renew it each year as long as he meets the established criteria. The first year is a maximum of 18% of the total cost of the registration and is effective through a discount on the monthly payments (from October to June) that the student must pay from the beginning of the year. The aid is not applied to the amount paid at the time of registration (50% of the total cost).
Blanquerna-URL financial aid is compatible with other public and private grants or financial aid, as long as they so provided. The sum of the amount of the Blanquerna-URL scholarship and the one awarded by the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional (applicable to the management of the AGAUR) in the concept of "exemption of public fees for academic services" may not exceed the total cost set by Blanquerna-URL for each academic year.
Specific aid Blanquerna
Blanquerna-URL, a non-profit institution
Blanquerna-URL also has special aid of a one-off nature for students already enrolled in 1st, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year who experience a situation of change that affects the family economy and seriously hinders the continuity of the academic year. Students who find themselves in these circumstances can contact the Financial Aid Service directly ( [email protected] /93 253 31 81) or through the SIOE/Faculty Secretariat at any time of the year. In the case of 1st-year students, it must be proven that the situation described has changed compared to the one it presented at the time of registration.
Aid for refugees or displaced persons
Blanquerna-URL offers six places with financial aid of a maximum of 50% of the course price for refugees or displaced persons affected by an international conflict, to be able to pursue degree studies at any of its three faculties. If you are a beneficiary of this aid, a renewal study will be carried out based on your situation in subsequent courses to be able to renew it.
Criteria for the evaluation of the aid
The guiding criteria for the evaluation of these grants are:
- Prove that you have the refugee or displaced category
- Demonstrate the situation of economic difficulty to cope with the payment of the registration.
