Introduction
The Mission of the Bachelor of Science Program in Computer Science at Bennett College for Women is to instill the
student with essential facts, concepts, principles, theories, and applications relating to computer science. Graduates of
the program understand not only the theoretical foundations of the discipline but also how that theory influences and is
applied in practice. The program provides a foundation that allows the student to study at graduate level and/or to work
in industry, maintaining their skills in the rapidly changing field.
