The application areas of industrial designers comprise various industries like product design, system design, service design, and experience design. The topics that include product design are furniture, transportation design, packaging, electronic devices, electrical tools, medical devices, investment products, house and office equipment, exhibition stands, lighting instruments, play and toys, products for babies and children, personal care products, sports equipment, jewelry design, etc. System Design includes systems combining products and services, combining products, product life-cycle design, visual identity design for product series, retail design, and visual design for exhibitions, museums, and other events.
