Bachelor in Guidance and Psychological Counseling

Bahçeşehir Cyprus University Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling; aims to train qualified psychological consultants who have a creative and critical thinking structure and can lead in the field, and who have a positive impact on the applications of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, nationally and internationally. In today’s world, in which the globalization is reflected in education in a considerable extent, educators who live in harmony with different cultures, who are open to innovations and who are technologically equipped are being trained. Training Psychological Counselor candidates who are one of the most important factors in the process of applied education, along with a constant interaction with specialist teachers is only one of the unique contributions that we bring to training educators. We aim to train our Psychological Counselors not only with national competences but with international competences and we wish for our candidates to receive a diploma which has international validity.

Welcome to the website of the BAU Cyprus University International Office. Our office also collaborates with partners all around the world, enabling us to offer a fast-growing student exchange program, and runs a full program of internationally accredited short courses in the BAU global Summer School.
The International Office is part of the University student support network. We are based on the first floor of University House and open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Friday. There is office staff with regional responsibilities who have expertise and experience of traveling to your part of the world on a regular basis, as well as staff qualified to give welfare and immigration advice.
