Entry Requirements

• Year 12 or equivalent via an alternative pathway
• English Language Proficiency IELTS 6.0 (International Students only)
• Digital Portfolio submitted
• Proof of basic knowledge of at least one Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)
• Supporting documents: - identification (passport or birth certificate)
• Resume covering prior music and production experience

AIM Studios are custom-designed recording facilities stocked with industry-standard recording and production software, mixing consoles and microphones … welcome to your new home. The studios feature a mix of both cutting-edge digital and vintage analog recording equipment, some of which you’ll only find in the top studios around the world. As an AIM audio student, you’ll get more access to this caliber of equipment than any other Australian degree. For live sound students, our venues have all the gear you’ll need for live concert production: digital and analog consoles for front of the house as well as foldback, lighting and a full backline. Plus, with our off-campus partners, you’ll have access to more equipment and professional experience.
