Mission
The bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering aims to provide the undergraduate student with a comprehensive knowledge of fundamental engineering in subjects such as power electronics and systems, electric machines, renewable energy, high voltage and power transmission. The program also provides a strong background for graduate study in many areas of electrical power engineering. The technical focus is completed with sound education in liberal arts and global thought. Students will learn, demonstrate and apply fundamental knowledge and methodologies of Electrical Power Engineering, including appropriate theoretical foundations, experimental and computational tools, which are essential for a successful career.
Program Educational Objectives
The graduates of EE program, within a few years, will be:
- Successful practitioners in the region and worldwide
- Continuing their professional development throughout their careers.
- Working productively in teams, and functioning effectively in diverse cultural environments.
Student Outcomes
AURAK has adopted ABET’s a-k outcomes for Electrical Engineering Program. The outcomes for the program are:
