BS in Accountancy

The Accountancy program is designed to develop competent, compassionate, and Christ-centered individuals who intend to pursue careers as Certified Public Accountants. This program integrates a liberal arts foundation with a professional field of study in business and accounting. The emphasis is on applied and hands-on training that prepares the student to step into a job immediately upon graduation in commerce and industry, government, not-for-profit organizations, and public accounting or enterprises as self-employed in Bicol elsewhere.

The program introduces students to emerging global orientation and innovative accounting and auditing practices such as International Accounting, Controllership, MIS Economics, and Audit and Foreign Exchange. This program allows students to acquire the essential knowledge and skills of accountants, auditors, management consultants, or entrepreneurs. The program prepares the students for the CPA Board Licensure Examination (through its 6 months CPA review.
