Introduction
The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies compliments the unique liberal arts curriculum (the CORE) by offering a contemporary, academic study of the Bible. The Bible is studied using the literal-grammatical-historical method of interpretation. Courses provide foundational knowledge of the Old and New Testament, which affords a basis on which to construct well-reasoned theological principles and personal applications. In addition, you will develop an understanding of other worldviews, religions, and contemporary issues. All faculty are conservative evangelical Christians but realize that intellectual honesty demands exposing the students to differing points of view in order to prepare them for contemporary life.
Earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just 5 years through ACU’s partnership with Dallas Theological Seminary
Arizona Christian University (ACU) and Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) have partnered to offer an academic collaboration that will allow ministry-minded students to graduate with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just 5 years. This program will fast-track future Christian leaders in their journey to complete their education and enter full-time ministry equipped and empowered to serve the Kingdom.
The program will combine a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biblical and Theological Studies from Arizona Christian University and a Master of Arts from Dallas Theological Seminary in one of several disciplines. By leveraging dual credit and advance standing options, students will earn both an undergraduate and graduate degree in just 5 years, rather than the 6 years it would typically take to complete the same two programs. By eliminating that year of tuition and living expenses, participants will significantly lower the cost of their education and enter their chosen field with the financial freedom to pursue God’s calling in their lives.
