Bachelor of Emergency Services Management
The Bachelor of Emergency Management Services is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to perform professionally in the role of an emergency services organization or agency manager and leader. The curriculum has two options. One is a degree completion option for those with an associate's degree. The other is for those without a degree. Both options are available online or on campus.
The purpose of the Bachelor in Emergency Services Management with a concentration in Whole Community degree program provides a diversity of courses designed to offer students the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to help save lives and property from the potentially devastating impact of disasters. Emergency management is both a profession and a field of study in the key areas involved in addressing any threat or hazard, including prevention, protection, response, recovery, and mitigation. The field covers man-made disasters, as well as issues of homeland security.
