Alcide De Gasperi University of Euroregional Economy
Introduction
Alcide De Gasperi University of Euro regional Economy (WSGE) was created on the 18th November 2002 and registered as a private University. The university's primary goal is to link education and business and prepare WSGE graduates to be professional and well-educated employees. Our study programs reflect the ministerial requirements and match the demands of an innovative economy. European projects and grants support the education process. A wide variety of training, internships (partly co-financed by WSGE), workshops, and postgraduate studies help both the didactic staff and students and graduates constantly develop and acquire new qualifications.
The University regularly contributes to the academic environment by publishing reports in its own magazine that boasts ministerial recognition. WSGE runs a career advisory service that monitors the professional activity of its graduates. It researches their workplaces to evaluate their competitiveness in the job market. The WSGE graduates usually find employment in local and central state authority institutions. WSGE widely make use of European Union education programs. The most popular is LLP Erasmus that fosters participation in the University’s students and its cadre and staff in international academic exchange. Within the LLP Erasmus program, students can also go on an international internship. To better promote inter-universities partnership, WSGE launched the distance learning system commonly referred to as E-Learning.
