Higher Education in Hungary
Hungary has always been an educated area of Europe. Once of the first universities in the region was that of Vesprem, which was built in 1276. The country is also home to the world's institute of technology, founded in 1735. Today the country remains an important area for development and higher education. In Hungary, students begin education at the age of three and continue through to vocational school (which can begin as early as Grade 9), special vocational training schools, and general secondary school. From there, students can move on to college and university.
