Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology The programme is designed to address the challenges of the educational transformation driven by the fourth industrial revolution and to meet the societal needs for qualified professionals in AI and educational technology to support the future development of schools, tertiary education, government and corporate sectors.

Students will be awarded one of the following awards upon successful completion of the graduation requirements of the programme concerned: The BSc(Hons) in Computer Science; The BSc(Hons) in Enterprise Information Systems; and The BSc(Hons) in Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence. Common first year. Students admitted to the Scheme do not need to decide on their final degree in the first year of study and can select their study paths in the second year. Rich study pathways. The programme’s relatively few core credits give students the flexibility to take on a Minor study in other disciplines they are interested in, such as Business Administration, Financial Services, Social Science or other Engineering disciplines. They can also take additional Computing subjects to continue or specialise in one or more technical streams.

The rapid advances of Artificial Intelligence (AI) have far-reaching impacts on our lives, ranging from mobile apps, smart home systems and health-monitoring devices to industrial process optimisation. AI is intimately linked to physics in various ways, and seamless collaboration between physics and AI enables accurate observations of the environment and the realistic formulation of solutions. Physics principles can be deployed to optimise AI components, facilitating the discoveries of critical workflows and parameters, as well as enhancing the training of AI systems. Conversely, AI plays a pivotal role in modern physics research by rapidly screening potential solutions, thereby saving resources needed for experimental studies.

This 4-year full-time scheme is designed to provide students with solid training in mathematical, statistical, and computer programming skills, with special emphasis on applications in investment and finance analytics or data science and analytics. This scheme comprises the following two undergraduate major programmes.

This programme is focused on the study of analytical skills based on mathematics, statistics and computing, applying them to the management, analysis of data, and the discovery of lawfulness from huge data sets or systems, now generally referred to as Big Data. Students should manage massive data and help make appropriate decisions upon successful completion of the programme.

The aim of the BRE Scheme is to provide an academic platform to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the fields of building and real estate through the experience of real-world methods and practices. Graduates possess intellectual, vocational, and practical skills relevant to building and real estate and demonstrate independent thinking, curiosity, confidence, and professionalism.
