Bachelor Programs in Finland
According to the World Economic Forum, Finland's tertiary education system ranks very highly: second in the world. Most colleges and universities in Finland are public, or state-funded. Higher education is divided into two sectors: Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences. Both types of schools grant Bachelor and Master degrees, but only Universities can confer Ph.Ds. Bachelor degrees in Information Technology, Media Engineering, International Business and Logistics, Nursing, Social Services, Construction Engineering, Electronics, Environmental Engineering Chemical Engineering and are just some of the diverse academic programs offered by schools in Finland.
Universities are located all over the country, in Ekenäs, Espoo, Helsinki, Hämeenlinna, Imatra, Kemi, Kuopio, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Mikkeli, Rovaniemi, Seinäjoki, Tampere, Tornio, Turku, Vaasa and Varkaus. Full time, part time and online study modes are available, but part time and online schedules may be limited to certain Bachelor study programs.
