Rocket dynamicsStudents practice at the basic enterprises of the rocket and space industry: PJSC RSC Energia named after S.P. Koroleva, Federal State Unitary Enterprise GC SPC named after M.V. Khrunicheva, FSUE SPC AP named after N. A. Pilyugin, FSUE NPO named after S. A. Lavochkina, OAO VPK “NPO Mashinostroyeniya”; at the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
SM-13 Rocket and Space Composite StructuresDepartment SM-13 “Rocket and Space Composite Structures” prepares bachelors for the program “Rocket Complexes and Cosmonautics” , profile “Composite Structures and Technologies in Rocket Engineering, Cosmonautics and Aviation” .
One of the features of KM is that they cannot be considered separately from the design and production technology. At the present stage of development of rocket and space technology, several areas are identified in which the use of CM will play a key role: deployable space structures (antennas, power plants, large-volume structures), rocket head fairings, reusable spacecraft, hypersonic air vehicles with direct-flow airborne jet engines.
Graduates of the department receive the knowledge and skills needed by a modern engineer to conduct research and produce new equipment. The theoretical foundation of the educational process is made up of the disciplines of the mathematical and natural science cycles - higher mathematics, chemistry, physics, theoretical mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer. Among the special disciplines are “Fundamentals of the physical chemistry of composites”, “Structural mechanics of composite structures”, “Mechanics of composite media”, “Optimization of composite structures and technologies”, “Fundamentals of rocket and space technology”. The curriculum provides for the study of computer design methods, production and testing of composite structures with a different combination of fillers and matrices. In recent years, the curriculum has included new disciplines: “Nanoengineering of spacecraft”, “Methods of forming an innovative environment”, “Technical training of space expeditions”, “Technique of reusable spacecraft”, which are not found in any university in Russia.
Students from Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Myanmar, Slovakia, France, graduate students from Belarus, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, China, Myanmar study at the department. Relations were established with a number of foreign universities: Ljubljana University (Slovenia), Glyndor University (Wrexham, UK), Ecol Polytechnic, (Leon, France), Beijing Institute of Technology (University), Harbin Polytechnic University (China), National Aerospace University named after N.E. Zhukovsky (KhAI), Kharkov, Ukraine. Fruitful partnerships are maintained with the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykova, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk.
The department has close ties with OJSC Composite, JSC ONPP Technology named after A. G. Romashin ", PJSC" RSC "Energy" named after S.P. Korolev ", GKNPTs im. MV Khrunicheva, JSC "VPK" NPO mashinostroeniya ", TsAGI named after N.E.
