Program Description

This is designed for students who intend to pursue professional careers in forest land and timber management in both the public and private sectors. Students may select from a wide range of electives to meet specific career objectives; for example, emphasizing in such areas as business, communications, and geographical information systems in forestry and related sciences.

Since 1954, we have graduated over 4,200 forestry, forest products, wildlife, fisheries, and aquaculture students. These students--our alumni—now serve in leadership positions of state and federal agencies, CEOs of forest products companies, private consultants, and entrepreneurs.
