The Bachelor in International Teacher Education in Primary Schools is a one of its kind study programme preparing students to become teachers at international schools worldwide. The four year course is an ideal education programme for students who are interested in teaching at international primary schools and would like to work abroad.
Upon completion of the four year course students will be prepared for the competitive job market. Within the programme students will gain experience and knowledge in areas such as getting children to focus on their work, how to make the classes you teach successful and figuring out how children think. Throughout the course students will embark on teaching experience at international schools in the Netherlands and abroad. In the third year of their study students will also choose a specialisation from a wide range of subjects offered at the home campus in the Netherlands or at the partner universities in Denmark or Norway:

- Special Education (Denmark and Netherlands)
- History and Sociology (Denmark and Norway)
- Religion and Ideology (Norway and Netherlands)
- Science and Technology (Norway and Denmark)

The final year will consist of students conducting practical research while completing teaching practice.
