The Horticulture curricula include courses about plant identification, pest management, plant science, and soil science. Also included are courses in sustainable plant production and management, landscaping, and the operation of horticulture businesses. Students will receive classroom instruction and practical hands-on laboratory applications of horticulture principles. They will experience applied to learn in an on-campus greenhouse and work with equipment and machinery essential to the horticulture profession today.
