Program description

The Degree in Global Business Engineering in Denmark is focused on applied sciences and technology and is combined with training in economics, marketing and languages that make this a unique program.

All classes are taught in English, which gives this program an international character.

Through the program you will learn to work independently in any project or engineering task and you will be able to apply the technical, economic and marketing knowledge acquired during your training.

You will also be able to interpret the results of scientific and technical research, in addition to using commercial knowledge to apply them in a practical way in the development of products and projects. You can solve any type of technical or commercial problem that you encounter during your professional life.

Cost

100% degree subsidized by the Danish government in the case of being in possession of the European Nationality.

Academic requirements

  • Bachelor's certificate or being in last year
  • High English certificate (C1):
    • Cambridge CAE with result A; IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 100
    • Get your official certificate with our test
  • Specific requirements: it will be necessary to have completed during the last 3 years a minimum of 375 hours in Mathematics, 200 hours in Physics and 125 hours in Chemistry

Structure of the program

The Global Business Engineering program in Denmark is composed of two fundamental areas : Science and Technology encompass approximately two thirds of the program. The remaining third is made up of Business and Language courses.

First course

The first year is composed of compulsory subjects

During this semester you will acquire experience in a demanding environment and where you will put into practice the knowledge obtained during your studies.

  • Professional internships, 30 ECTS

Ninth semester:

You will prepare your Final Degree Project, in which you will integrate the concepts and skills acquired.

Global Business Engineers operate mainly in the industrial market, especially in the mechanical and ICT-related industries.

The qualification qualifies you to occupy managerial positions within the design and implementation of technical solutions, as well as within marketing and sales.

Your first job could be as a project manager, export manager, product manager or marketing coordinator.

Professional practices

Test the theories and practical methods that you have studied during your Professional Practices of the Global Business Engineering program.

The 3-month internships in the 8th semester are your opportunity to take practice your knowledge before starting to work on your final exam project.

The internship and the final exam project are related to the same company in which you will have ample opportunities to use your acquired knowledge and prove your strength in problems and solutions based on practice.

To study abroad

The experience of studying abroad provides a very enriching global perspective. The Degree in Global Business Engineering in Denmark fosters cultural diversity on campus, encouraging students to study abroad for a semester and welcoming foreign students from partner institutions.

There are agreements with more than 33 countries for student exchange and professional practices.

This means that you have the opportunity to study, for example, during a semester in one of the partner institutions in another country.

You can also choose to do your internship in an international company outside of Denmark. Both possibilities give you the opportunity to experience the way of life in another culture.
