Ca' Foscari University of Venice

This degree program is characterized by a technical approach to the study of languages and to oral and written mediation. The program includes linguistic-cultural courses, including liaison interpreting in the two main languages (English and Spanish) and elements of international law and business administration. The program is based on innovative teaching methods, including the use of language and IT laboratories, and requires students to spend a semester in Spain. Scholarships for graduates will be available in Spain (Tandem Escuela Internacional de Madrid).

Admission is limited to 77 places.

Quota reserved to non-EU students residing outside Italy: 9 seats, of which 5 are reserved for Chinese students living in China, under the Marco Polo Project.

Admission requirements

  • a successful outcome of the admission test
  • a previous suitable background.
  • An understanding of B1-level English is expected,
  • understanding of Italian grammar
  • a general cultural, historical and geographical understanding of Spanish and Spanish-speaking countries.

If the results of the test are negative, students can enroll, but they will receive a supplementary educational debt (OFA), which means that the students must fill any gaps in their background through specific activities organized by the University.
