As the general intellectual level and cultural consciousness of modern people have improved, interest in Buddhist studies has been increasing worldwide. This is because Buddhism goes beyond the nature of the study of the doctrine of a specific religion called Buddhism, and presents effective solutions by fundamentally insight into human and social problems based on a rational explanation of the fundamental problems of life. The need for a systematic study of Buddhism that provides a more in-depth study of the teachings that enlighten the truth about the universe and life, and presents a vision for the desired direction for mankind will be strengthened in the future. It will firmly establish itself as an area of inquiry for intellectuals. In response to this trend of the times, the Buddhism major, led by a research on the whole of Buddhism, greatly strengthens research in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences to creatively solve various problems required by modern society. By studying Buddhism in-depth, you will be equipped with a knowledge of the basic philosophy of Buddhism and the ability to comprehend the classical language. In addition, it cultivates the ability to comprehend various disciplines by integrating with sincerity recognized in various fields of society, creativity that can solve various problems through humanities literacy, and the ability to use IT.
