Developing and visualizing comprehensive brand concepts - the degree program combines strategic communication with creative design. This specialization allows you to offer both disciplines from one source. Acquire a broad understanding of brands, communications and current technologies in close collaboration with field professionals in small study groups. Learn to design aesthetically, think conceptually and strategically plan and create a distinctive brand image. The holistic, practically oriented study course covers all areas of communication design in print, TV and the Web: advertising, corporate design, photography, film and animation, communication in the room to event design. Many projects and competitions are created with partners from the economy.
The degree program is designed for students who wish to combine communication design with understanding of brand management and marketing in order to work in advertising and branding agencies, media companies, marketing departments or on an independent basis as art directors and communication designers. As a communication expert, you supervise the planning, development, conception and creation of holistic communication projects in print, online, TV and social media.
The following entry requirements must be met for a bachelor's degree at the Department of Design of Hochschule Fresenius:
- General university entrance qualification, or
- Fachhochschulreife, or
- Specialized university entrance qualification, or
- Master's certificate.

Anyone who has successfully completed a university degree or an accredited Bachelor's degree program at a state or state-recognized Berufsakademie without having a general university entrance qualification is also eligible for the qualification required for a general higher education entrance qualification.
Those who have completed the undergraduate studies in a Fachhochschulstudiengang, a graduated study program at a university or a comparable stage of study have a qualification corresponding to the subject-specific university entrance qualification.
