Bachelor Programs in Administration

Colombo is a harbor town and is the capital of Sri Lanka. It is a vibrant commercial area with over 700,000 residents. Colombo has several institutions of higher learning most of these being colleges.

Administration programs provide students with hands-on training through internships or projects, as well as lectures. Students can expect four years of study, and often are required to take courses unrelated to administration, such as biology and literature, to round out their degree.

Though there are many opportunities for higher education in Sri Lanka, a good deal of residents opt not to attend these institutions. Though international pressure has helped some in development, university proposals are often met with resistance from locals.

A bachelor's degree is given to students who fulfill the necessary requirements given by the college or university they are attending. The requirements include three to seven years of focus on a subject, typically referred to as a major or concentration.
