Program Description

Provo College Bachelors in Visual Media & Graphic Design students receive an Intuos Pro and Canon PowerShot, Digital Camera to use while they are in school and keep after graduation. Make your world a more creative place with this interactive device that lets you combine pen and touch capabilities. You will gain the understanding of digital photography with your digital camera including how to set up a shot, rule of thirds and depth of field.

The Utah Occupational Long-Term Projections forecast that graphic designers will be among the faster-growing careers through 2022, with a projected total job growth of 26% or 3,860 jobs, (Utah Department of Workforce Services Occupational Projections, 2014). Program

Visual Media & Graphic Design graduates are trained in:

  • Interactive InDesign, Digital Illustration, Digital Painting Techniques, Adobe Muse, After Effects, Lightroom, WordPress, 3D Photoshop, and Archetypes in Branding.
  • Package design, infographics, branding and marketing, digital painting, photo editing, web design, motion graphics, and digital photography.
