Bachelors in Management (BSBA)
The Department of Management in the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies (H.C.B.P.S.) at U.C.M. offers students educational experiences that will help them address the challenges of business in a wide variety of careers. The Management Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Management. We also offer a Management minor. The courses in the BSBA in Management major utilize a team-based experiential learning approach, rather than lecture, to help students understand both the theory and practice of management. In the BSBA in Management major, our students will be given the opportunity to:
- Become more effective decision makers
- Organize activities to implement decisions
- Deliver effective oral presentations and written communications
- Lead others effectively
- Develop skills and attitudes required for life-long learning and serving others

The Integrative Business Experience (I.B.E.)
The BSBA in Management requires the I.B.E. I.B.E. classes create, operate, and execute start-up businesses (based on bank loans of up to $5,000 per business) and manage hands-on service projects for non-profit organizations. In the last 7 years, I.B.E. teams have donated more than $200,000 in profits to non-profit organizations and have completed service projects involving more than 7,000 hours for the community.
The most popular clubs for management majors are Enactus (formerly SIFE) and D.E.C.A. which any U.C.M. major may join.

All U.C.M. business programs are accredited by the A.A.C.S.B. International.
