The Tourism and Hospitality course offers conditions for academics to develop creativity, strategic planning capacity and entrepreneurial character, knowing the socioeconomic and cultural reality in regional, national and global level. Curricular activities are directed to the four stroke knowledge areas: Hospitality and Leisure, Tourism Enterprises Management, Planning and Organization of Tourism and Event Planning and Development.
The curriculum provides focused disciplines to the humanities, research technique, applied social sciences, marketing, beyond the specific subjects such as: Agencies and Transport, Event Planning and Organization Consulting Tourism and Hotel Management, Planning and Tourism Organization, Management Media Hosting, Tourism and Environment, Food, Leisure & Entertainment, Public Policy Management, Tourism Marketing, Markets and Trends. Beyond theory, students have the opportunity to experience the practice in specific laboratories of the course.

The Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality is a professional trained to work in Management and Tourism Planning and Lodging Facilities as: Hospitality and Leisure; Agency and Transport; Event management; Tourism and Environment. Hospitality areas as: Gastronomy, Maritime Cruises, Hospitals, Clinics and SPAS (Hospital Hospitality), Tourism and Hospitality Consulting, and Public tourism bodies, which are expanding into fields for the occupation.
In addition, this professional should have skills and expertise in human relations and should be able to: take advisory positions, consulting and entrepreneurship; act as a multiplier, planning and implementing management units.

Curricular activities are directed to four areas emphasized in the course: Agency and Transport; Organization and Event Management; Organization of Tourism and Environment; Planning and Administration in Hospitality and Leisure. Still capable of exerting related functions in the areas of hospitality, gastronomy, cruises, hospitals, clinics and spas. It should also have the professional features, creative and reflective ability, initiative, proactivity and skills in human relations.
The curriculum offers courses focused on the humanities (history, geography and Portuguese), in addition to specific areas such as tourism planning and hospitality. Beyond theory, students have the opportunity to experience the practice in specific laboratories of the course.
