Students undertake units in cinematic writing, TV writing, adaptation, writing for games and web content, and attend workshops with the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and Television) directing students to develop a wider industry perspective and form creative partnerships.Students also undertake Critical Studies subjects that introduce them to the practice of critical self-reflection in the context of wider contemporary arts practices, as well as the opportunity choose electives from other specialisations across the Victorian College of the Arts, and the University of Melbourne.At the end of three years you will be able to write professionally for the various screen media and will have acquired a solid base in many generic skills such as presenting professional work, giving and taking feedback and working in creative teams.Graduates are successful in local and international film festivals, winning numerous awards with their productions.
