The comic is an art both literary and graphic. Composed of a succession of pictures with text, it helps to tell a story real or imagined. To make a cartoon, the artist must establish the synopsis, specify the cutting action, write dialogues, create the characters and the environment in which they operate. He must also choose viewpoints, framing and layout of thumbnails, perform a first draft of the design, conduct inking, the color development and ultimately transcribe the dialogues and comments. Once published, the comic can be presented in various formats (eg. Headband, board, book, album). OBJECTIVES This program allows and encourages openness to the visual world by interaction between the mastery of formal language and its application in the different modes of expression in the visual arts, graphic design or comics.
