This course allows students to study a variety of electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines both practically and theoretically; students have the opportunity, through the final-year project module to produce an engineering design or product; this course improves both practical and academic skills to prepare students for a wide range of opportunities either in employment in RandD or on to a Masters degree course; on successful completion of this degree, students are able to work within the engineering industry as a technician, design engineer, quality control engineer or test engineer.
