The areas of study in electrical engineering are quite diverse. The curriculum is therefore developed to provide fundamental knowledge in several major study areas so that students will be well-prepared for work in the highly competitive and fast-moving electrical engineering professions.

The aim of the Mechanical Engineering Program at SIITis to provide effective education to prospective engineers, giving them the ability to plan, administer, and manage the latest technologies. Two main areas of study are emphasized in this program; these are (1) general mechanical engineering, and (2) energy management.

The Chemical Engineering Program intends to prepare chemical engineers for life-long achievement through education in the principles of chemical engineering: to encourage the development of communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

The Engineering Management Program is designed for qualified individuals who plan to assume a management role in a technology-based,project-oriented environment within manufacturing, service, or government organization. It offers an interdisciplinary course of study that combines the unique capabilities of industrial engineering, management, and information technology.

The digital engineering curriculum is designed to prepare students for rapidly changing digital technology and its applications. Emphasis is put on the area of application software development based on new trends such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing, as well as that of data science, including big data analytic and data modeling.

Emphasis is placed on learning about the production of economic animals such as pigs, poultry, dairy cattle, beef cattle, goats, sheep, etc., by studying animal breeds and breed characteristics.
