A Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program is designed to provide students with the skills to be an effective teacher. TESOL subjects may include linguistics for teachers, grammar, methods and assessment and language acquisition.

For a couple of years Azerbaijan has improved their higher education system by improving education level in several universities to international standards. There is also improved students relationship where some of the courses are offered in international languages like English, Chinese and Spanish.

A bachelor's degree is given to students who fulfill the necessary requirements given by the college or university they are attending. The requirements include three to seven years of focus on a subject, typically referred to as a major or concentration.
