A Bachelor in Special Education prepares teachers to practice inclusive education for individuals with disabilities. What is a Bachelor in Special Education? This undergraduate degree provides students with a framework of empowerment, advocacy, behavior and education methods to teach and support individuals with disabilities. Special education coursework extensively covers the skills and understanding necessary to work with special needs students in a classroom or social services setting. Participants study the physical and mental disabilities that require special education and their influence on learning and development.
