The Department of Turkish-Central Asian Languages offers a regional approach to the area to develop Eurasian Vision and also broadens understanding and knowledge of the area. By studying the Turkish-Central Asian language, history, and culture in comparison with or linking to Korean studies, students can develop a humanistic understanding of Turkey-Central Asia, a region with a similar language and culture to Korea. In addition, the Department provides the academic and practical information of the area including politics, society, and economics, and cultivates local management skills through exchange programs with the countries to nurture professionals contributing to Korean and Turkish-Central Asian relations.
