Our Jazz Programme ‘New York Comes to Groningen’ is unique in the world for two reasons: 1 Fifteen top New York artists travel to Groningen on a rotating schedule. Each week of the year one of them is teaching Monday through Friday. 2 All students (Bachelor and Master) work with all of the NY-artists, irrespective of the student’s instrument. Courses include theory, ear training, composing, arranging and a wide variety of workshops. In addition, there is ongoing weekly instruction from a world class Dutch faculty.
