A bachelor’s degree is a four-year undergraduate degree and is the standard for higher education throughout most of the world. Bachelor’s degrees can be earned at state universities, at private universities, at community colleges and via online universities.
Marine biology emphasizes the importance of protecting and preserving aquatic environments for marine mammals and organisms. Water covers a large portion of the Earth and supports an incredible amount of animal, plant, and microbe life. By studying marine biology, individuals can work to safeguard all life on Earth.
The United States of America is located on the continent of North America. It is the third largest country by size in the world. It has a relatively short history compared to other world nations, has one of the world's largest economies, and has one of the world's most diverse populations.

The marine biology major offers students experiential learning opportunities in marine science and ecosystems, including diving and snorkeling in different marine contexts, hiking and study in shore environments, collection and identification of marine organisms, and lab work. [+]
The marine biology major offers students experiential learning opportunities in marine science and ecosystems, including diving and snorkeling in different marine contexts, hiking and study in shore environments, collection and identification of marine organisms, and lab work.
Studies in marine biology will serve as a basis for work or further study in many areas of marine science. The marine biology major provides students with the biological and ecological tools to develop a basic understanding of marine ecosystems. Classroom, laboratory, and field experiences work together to allow students to apply learned techniques and concepts in real-world situations both locally and in marine environments. These studies are taught from a Christian and Lutheran perspective in order to understand that our Lord is responsible for initiating and sustaining these systems.... [-]

Curriculum and Curricular Structure is comprised of 350 credits, according to the guidelines School Control Educational Programs MEIF, are studied in a standard time of 7 Periods (3.5 years) with a short period of 5 ( 2.5 years) and a long period of 11 (5.5 years).Standard Total Credits / 50 = Standard 350/50 = 7 periods Continuous Short Standard time is multiplied by 0.75 7 x 0.75 = 5.25 periods Continuous long Standard time is multiplied by 1.50 7 x 1.5 = 10.5 periods Marine biology train professionals agree that address the social problems of each region, supported by comprehensive training that includes theoretical and practical, basic, disciplinary and professionalizing subjects. The educational experiences that make up the curriculum offered, for the biological area (invertebrates, botany, microbiology, etc.), chemistry (general chemistry, biochemistry, etc.), mathematics (statistics, multivariate statistics, etc.) ecological (marine ecology) and physical (administration, design and evaluation of projects, etc.). In general, overlap in terms of basic subjects related to marine biodiversity and mathematics and chemistry as well as in inclusive educational experiences (eg evolution) are noticed. It proposes the social and human development based on accurate knowledge of natural marine resources that allows its preservation for future generations. Therefore the graduate will have the expertise and capacities to propose: Strategies study of marine biodiversity Prepare assessments of... [-]
