The B.A. program in linguistics in our department is designed to give students a solid background in the core areas of phonology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, as well as in more applied areas such as psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics. Studies in the department take place in English, but this is not the only language being studied; the approach in the department is that of general linguistics which aims to study human language and the human linguistic capacity.

The Bachelor of Arts in English emphasizes composition, language, and literature. You will be introduced to various writing styles, the background and structure of the English language, a range of human experiences reflected in literature, and critical literary theory and analysis of texts.

The College of Korean Medicine, established to educate skilled and devoted oriental medicine practitioners, has grown to become a reputable institute for research and education in the field of Korean medicine. The Hall of Oriental Medicine, located in the Yangjeong area of Busan, provides a fertile academic atmosphere where students can concentrate on their study and clinical training in-depth and prepare for national examinations. The two affiliated oriental medicine hospitals located in Yangjeong (in Busan) and Ulsan (a city of one million just north of Busan) focus on producing professional medical doctors who can skillfully apply their theoretical knowledge to the clinical fields.

In the pre-term placement, per 5-15 Chinese language students will be set in one class according to their actual Chinese level.

The Division of China aims at nurturing experts of China. Under such a purpose, the Division is educating students to make them experts with capacities of Chinese language, localization, the practical ability for trade and culture design.

Chinese (as a Foreign Language) Undergraduate Program is divided into two directions: General Chinese language and Business Chinese.
