The B.A. in Visual Art Studies program offers three different areas of concentration: Art History and Art Theory, Arts Management & Curatorial Studies, and Studio Art options from painting, photography, and sculpture to conceptual and cross-media arts.

The iArts (Integrated Arts) BFA is a Level I, direct entry program that emphasizes interdisciplinary creative practice as a collective mode of learning, preparing students for professional careers in the arts. You will have the opportunity to engage with a range of hands-on media and techniques in art and performance, while also learning about the histories and critical contexts of art and performance locally, nationally and internationally. With a focus on student-directed learning, the BFA allows you to pursue your own interests and develop skill sets to support your personal, artistic expression. You will also have many opportunities to work collaboratively and expand beyond traditional arts practice to engage with one another and with the University and community at large.

Our innovative Fine Art Mixed Media BA will give you the opportunity to explore and develop work across boundaries within the ever-expanding contemporary fine art disciplines. The School of Visual Development's BFA program provides a dynamic education in the art of scene-setting. The core curriculum emphasizes photography, figure modeling, form analysis, figure drawing, narrative principles, visual development for animation, character design, concept paintings, advanced exploration of perspective for video game design, and various other critical design disciplines.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts programme at Malmö Art Academy provides preparation for an international career. We take your own artistic work as the starting point in teaching theoretical and practical subjects. The programme consists of individual work in your own studio, individual tutoring from professors and other teaching staff, and timetabled courses in the major fields of artistic technique, artistic creation and art theory. MTSU's growing art department offers a wide variety of studio options with an emphasis on ceramics, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Art majors are exposed to cross-disciplinary projects and collaborations in both traditional and non-traditional materials with the ability to experiment in today's ever-evolving art fields. Upgrades to the completely renovated, three-floor Andrew L. Todd Hall feature state-of-the-art master classrooms, studios, and equipment. The department also regularly invites local and regional artists and nationally and internationally known artists to exhibit in the Todd Art Gallery, conduct workshops, and lecture in numerous classes.

The School of Art undergraduate studio programs emphasize contemporary research in creative practices in art, design, and art history. Students engage in one-on-one dialogue, group critiques, experiential learning and technical demonstrations, exhibition tours, visiting artists’ lectures, field trips, and more, creating a lively studio culture.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree consists of Art History and Aesthetics requirement of 15 hours, core studio requirements of 26 hours, and a choice of emphasis in one of the following: Animation, Graphic Design, Two Dimensional Studio, and Three Dimensional Studio. Each of the emphases areas is 35 hours. The total art program is 76 hours.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts program is a one-year 'specialized art creation curriculum' of intensive major education. Intensify the major through individual meetings with the advisor (apprenticeship-style major study), allowing students to create their own works through team teaching convergence education with other majors beyond the barriers between faculties and departments. We are broadening the horizon of creativity through various methods, such as small-scale intensive, individual-to-individual, and large-scale integrated education where group-to-group meets (lab, studio, production-centered creation-LAB, Studio, Production). This is to broaden the department to new applications of the major and to deepen one's field of study through creation. Furthermore, we are conducting art education that combines science and technology through cooperative work in various majors based on affiliated institutions such as the Arts Engineering Center (Artek) and the Culture and Arts Industry Convergence Center. By introducing cutting-edge technology to art creation and utilizing new media for performances and exhibitions, Seoul Institute of the Arts suggests a direction for art creation in the digital age and constantly challenges new forms of art creation. The curriculum of our university is a process of implementing the 4 major development indicators and 5 educational goals based on the founding philosophy. The Seoul Institute of the Arts undergraduate program is located at the center of the creative work.
