Earning a bachelor's degree is achieved by completing the necessary course of study offered by the college or university you enroll in. Completing this study may take three to seven years depending on where you seek your degree.

The Bachelor of Entrepreneurship has the purpose of providing students the knowledge to create their own company and products. It teaches the required skills such as marketing, finance, accounting or the basics of business management. Graduates will be able to define their own job or to work for diverse business organizations.

The curriculum is designed around two themes: screening and recognizing opportunities to create value, and personal innovation despite scarce organizational resources.

Students of the program, in their first major required course, develop a feasibility study for a new venture, which is then used in subsequent courses. The study is worked into a business plan in the program's capstone course, MGT 487 Managing and Growing Firm and Business Planning. Entrepreneurial Studies is an interdisciplinary major that focuses on the tools needed to start a new business, manage a small business, expand a family business, lead innovation efforts in a corporate environment, or become an effective manager in a fast-growing enterprise.Services are offered to both men and women, including projects that offer professional consulting and student support to assist local businesses. As part of the business core, students take upper-division business requirements, including Introduction to Marketing, Managing Organizational Behavior, Business Finance, Management Information Systems, and Operations Management. The major then begins with Principles of Entrepreneurship, and continues with upper-level courses in all of the business disciplines, including Marketing Communications, Small Business Finance, Accounting/Tax for Small Business, and Business Law.
