Accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education, the bachelor entitled “Structural Engineering” are 4 years undergraduate programs, with teaching and examinations entirely in English language or in French language. Organised within the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages (FILS) of the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (UTCB) since the early 90s , the bachelors contain 8 semesters with an associated total number of 240 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). The bachelors are opened to Romanian and foreign bachelor graduates. They also accommodates Erasmus+ exchange students. UTCB has 67 Erasmus+ agreements with universities from 17 countries. For the academic year 2016-2017 over 20 Erasmus students from France, Spain and Greece already registered to follow lectures in our faculty (bachelor or master). The same bachelor program is provided at FILS with teaching and examinations in English or in French language. Exchange students can benefit of this, being allowed to select lectures in both languages and consequently they can develop their foreign languages skills.
