Earning a bachelor's degree is achieved by completing the necessary course of study offered by the college or university you enroll in. Completing this study may take three to seven years depending on where you seek your degree.

Bachelor degrees in engineering are aimed towards students who wish to study engineering, but are not sure which program is of their preference. Students will receive a general education in engineering, which will allow them to choose which engineering degree they want to pursue in particular.

The Department of Chemical Engineering is nationally recognized for its best practice for chemical engineering teaching and is one of only two Chemical Engineering Departments in the country, and the only Department that trains students to the level of Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Chemical Engineering.
