Bio- and environmental engineering is therefore there to minimize these pressures at their source and to develop environmentally friendly plants. The ecological development of new products and the use of the available resources build up the priorities of the scientific debate in the course "Bio- and Environmental Engineering." The course qualifies its graduates for activities in the biotechnology and environmental technology. Plan of study Subjects such as mathematics, general chemistry and biochemistry, microbiology, statistics and physics predominate in the first semesters of BEE. As specialisation, you will find lectures on the subject analytical chemistry, simulation of biotechnological plants, pollution control and water hygiene as well as soil and water pollution control.
