The innovative programs offered by the Department aim to prepare students to become highly qualified professionals needed in industry, government, and academia. The department of Computer Engineering was establihed in 1993 at the Faculty of Engineering. A four-year Computer Engineering program based on practice-oriented curriulum is offered. The undergraduate curricula are designed to enable graduades to identify, formulate, and solve problems using engineering principles. The practice-oriented programs encourage students to work on real world problems and gain some work experience. Furthermore it is expected that these programs supported with modern computer laboratories and advanced foreign language teaching facilities provide significant advantages for our graduates to work within a global economy and within a competitive environment.
