Energy Studies

A bachelor’s degree is a post-secondary degree awarded after completed 120 credits. It usually takes eight semesters to complete a Bachelor’s degree. While completing an undergraduate course, candidates have to study general courses and chose a major specific subject. A Bachelor’s degree can also be called a baccalaureate in certain countries.

Energy studies are useful for those looking to learn about how power works. Specialized energy programs may focus on a specific type of energy, such as solar or wind. Some programs may teach about sustainable energy and reducing the negative environmental impact of conventional power.

Education in the United States is mainly provided by the public sector, with control and funding coming from three levels: state, local, and federal, in that order.
