Chartered Accountancy Training Positions for Chartered Accountancy training (CA) are normally advertised in the autumn prior to graduation (Semester 7) with many firms taking part in a ‘milk round’ of interviews in October and November each year. It is very important for Year 3 students hoping to get a CA training contract to prepare application forms and CVs before returning to fourth year, as the deadlines set by firms can be as early as mid-October. Many organisations offer internships and placements and it can also be useful to contact local firms to see if relevant experience can be gained. All of which will help when applying for a Training Contract position.
