If so, iArts is the answer. iArts stands for interdisciplinary Arts, an intensive international three-year Bachelor’s programme for the creative and intelligent multitalented. Bachelor MusicConservatorium Maastricht is an internationally oriented music academy and is part of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. It is located in the centre of Europe, close to Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, and France. Because of its international position, there are ample opportunities to gain experience on important national and international stages.


Currently, 442 students of around forty-eight different nationalities study at Conservatorium Maastricht. There are three different departments: Classical Music, Jazz/Pop and Music in Education. Conservatorium Maastricht offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.


The four arts faculties of Zuyd University (Conservatorium Maastricht, Drama Academy, Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Design) attract national and international artists and arts students to Maastricht. These arts faculties have been working together with Maastricht University for a long time. This collaboration will be even more intense in the future, which will further increase the attraction of Maastricht as a European City of Education.
