A bachelor's degree is awarded at the successful completion of an undergraduate academic program. It is often the first degree a student received in his or her academic career. It typically takes four years of full-time study to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Graduates of a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning will be able to pursue careers in local governments, private sector property developers or consultancy. The degree intends to teach students how to create urban environments that are sustainable and liveable. It does this by providing an education in urban design, economics, history, environmental and politics studies.
