Goals and Objectives The program goals have been derived from and support the mission statement of the American University of Ras al Khaimah. The graduate of the Architecture Program is expected to be able to: 1. Pursue a successful professional career in local and regional markets or higher studies in the field of Architecture. 2. Conceive, design, model, analyze, test and implement Architectural principles and processes considering their environmental impact. 3. We aim at educating students who have a good knowledge of implementation and the construction market, good acquintance of contemporary materials and detailing and developed creative design capacity. Some of these are carried from the local up to the national and international scale. The faculty desires to further develop it’s international relations and this is clearly stated among its development goals and objectives. We collaborate with several municipalities and government offices in preparing projects and research. These also help increase the experience of our staff and students.
