It will appeal to a number of different sorts of student: - those intending to go for dual professional qualification - those wanting to keep their options open until they can base a career choice on serious study of both disciplines - those who have decided on a profession but want to bring to it (and to applications for professional training and for jobs) a track record of in-depth learning in a key related discipline Fitting two sets of exemptions within a four-year programme gives a varied programme which concentrates on the areas those professions identify as the key ones, but doesn't leave any room for manoeuvre on what modules you take: First Year The first year concentrates mainly on foundational accounting and economics modules: Financial Accounting 1, Economics, Computing for Business and Accounting, Quantitative Methods for Business and Accounting.
